2017 Winter-Spring Trainings


In collaboration with Vermont Rural Water Association, GMWEA 

presented an eight-week course, Introduction to Wastewater Operations (SAC course). The course started on February 21 and ran every Tuesday until April 25.  Additional CEC courses are planned for spring and summer, to be announced soon.

Running from October 13, 2015 through Oct. 11, 2016 this monthly 12-session course included the following sessions:

GMWEA's CEC determines our training offerings for the year.  In addition to the Spring and Fall Conference training sessions, GMWEA offers 12-week accredited courses twice a year.  See below for information on recent and forthcoming eight-week trainings.

May 16, 2017 New Stormwater Manual Training


In partnership with Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation, GMWEA presented a training focused on the new Stormwater Manual.  The half-day course, attended by thirty operators, engineers, systems, designers, and facilitated by four members of Vt. DEC's Stormwater Unit, was held at Rutland Free Library. The Vt. DEC will hold additional trainings throughout Vermont; visit the Vermont DEC website to find dates and locations.
