2018 Sac Wastewater Operation Course starts Oct. 2


Based on Volumes 1 and 2 of the Wastewater Sacramento books, this 8-day course prepares attendees to take the Grades 1 and 2 Domestic Wastewater certification exams. Each attendee will learn the basic concepts of wastewater treatment from collection system to final disposal of effluent and solids.  Taught at the Montpelier Wastewater Treatment Facility by a team of expert trainers, the course includes both classroom training and field trips!  Presented by GMWEA in affiliation with Vermont Rural Water Association.

The Spring Conference & Member meeting features nine technical trainings session, and the Fall Trade Show and Conference offers six. Training topics are determined by member demand and presentations are coordinated by GMWEA's Continuing Education Committee.  See the 2018 Spring Meeting page for examples recent training topics.

Trainings are presented by officials from the Vt. Department of Environmental Conservation, Vt. OSHA, Vt. Rural Water Association, N.H. Dept. of Environmental Conservation, water/wastewater industry evaluators and service providers, and other experts in the field.
